Goodbye My Friend

I know I haven't really kept up with this blog, but I wanted to share some sad news. Bomber was diagnosed less than a month ago with cancer in his intestines. Monday night he stopped eating and we thought about putting him to sleep on Tuesday. Our vet wanted us to try one more cortisone shot to see if it would help him but it didn't. Early this morning, Bomber crossed the Rainbow Bridge. It took the tough decision out of my hands and I'm glad that he was able to pass at home where he felt the safest (the bedroom).

I will miss you terribly my little mush cat.

Those we have loved, remain in our hearts forever. The love Bomber gave to you was reflected in your tender care, and I hope as time passes, the happy memories will come to mind often, and the sadness softened.

we didn't get a chance to know bomber, but our eyes and mommehs are leaky. We are so sorry for your loss. But remember, its not really goodbye, we'll meet again at the bridge one day. maybe then we'll get to meet him too.

Don't ever stop talking about him or telling his story. Even if it hurts- it is part of the healing.

We're hear if you need someone to listen.

-love, purrs, headbutts, hugs, all the goodness we can send,
